Sony introduces XAV-AX100 in-car audio system
Taking the in-car audio experience a notch higher, Sony India has launched XAV- AX100, an advanced offering for in-car receivers and players. The XAV-AX100 is a perfect companion for long journeys and includes the latest smartphone connectivity with the best user interface.
The XAV-AX100 enables smarter driving and aids to navigate, communicate and play music from the mobile phone with intelligent voice control or touch panel control. This is possible through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (Navigation is not enabled for CarPlay in India yet) which makes it easier than ever to use a smartphone on road.
Utilising Sony’s unique technology, the XAV-AX100’s high power sound and EXTRA BASS feature transforms any vehicle into an elaborate sound system, all the while making the drive as safe and comfortable as possible with rotation volume control and voice command features. Android Auto extends the Android platform into the car in a way that is purpose-built for driving. With a simple and intuitive interface and powerful new voice actions, it is designed to minimize distraction so that the driver can stay focused on the road. No matter the device, the driver will always stay in control of music, maps and more with the latest in-car audio system.
Unified connectivity
Connecting a phone to a car has never been better with the option of Apple CarPlay. CarPlay allows one to use smartphone in a safe and smart way while staying focused on the road, letting one access Apple Music, make phone calls, and send messages all through the touchscreen, or vocally with Siri. Irrespective of the choice of the device, the XAV-AX100 allows full control on music and more.
Optimal sound
High power sound is full throttle with the XAV-AX100 in-car audio system. The astounding audio quality is supported by the 55watts x 4 Dynamic Reality Amp 2 and EXTRA BASS low boost circuitry which successfully overcomes engine noise. The system also reproduces clear sound at any volume level with deep and punchy bass. XAVAX100 comes with rear USB and rear camera input for easy parking. It also has Bluetooth connectivity and supplied with external mike.
The 10-band graphic equalizer gives an amazing variety of sound, perfectly complementing EXTRA BASS for an enjoyable drive. The 3-pre out connectivity allows system expandability to connect external amplifiers with a wide range of speaker connections, allowing sound enthusiasts to build their own bespoke system.
The exceptional Sony technology in the Dynamic Stage Organizer (DSO) complements the XAVAX100 features, overcoming the inherent acoustic disadvantage of front-door mounted, fullrange speakers which can sound muddy or unclear. The DSO adjusts the signal creating the illusion of dash-mounted virtual speakers to provide an ideal, high quality sound experience for the journey.
Touch screen
Maintaining every aspect and appearance of a smartphone, the XAV- AX100 offers clear and responsive touch screen thereby creating a simple and safe user interface. Its lighter touch operation and improved visibility also help improve late night drives and glaring sunshine. XAVAX100 will be available through car accessories shops and car showrooms across India.
