Audi India launches new Q3

Audi India has launched its third car for the year with the introducti­on of the Audi Q3. The new updated SUV from the German luxury carmaker now gets added features and new engine options in the form of a 2.0 TDI FWD and 2.0 TDI quattro. The 2.0 TDI quattro engine produces a maximum power of 184 hp and 380 Nm of peak torque. The 2.0 l TDI FWD produces a maximum power of 150 hp and 340 Nm of torque.

Both the petrol and the diesel Q3 get 7-speed S-tronic transmissi­on. For safety, the new Q3 comes equipped with electronic stabilisat­ion program, electronic vehicle immobilisa­tion device and six airbags for both variants. The price of the new Audi Q3 2.0 TDI FWD starts at Rs 34.2 lakh and for the new Audi Q3 2.0 TDI quattro at Rs 37.2 lakh, exshowroom Delhi.

The standard features in the new Q3 include panoramic sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with Audi-spec LED DRLs, Front seats with electric adjustment and deluxe 2 zone automatic air conditione­r. The new air inlets in the front bumper give the car a more premium look. The interiors include front seats with electric adjustment as standard on the entire range. The Q3 2.0 TDI quattro features aluminium tangent inlays while the 2.0 TDI FWD gets walnut brown inlays. It gets a 4-spoke multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters.

Rahil Ansari, Head, Audi India, said, “the new Audi Q3 is the benchmark with new engine options, attractive new features and an enviable list of standard equipment upping its desirabili­ty quotient immensely. We will have overall 10 launches this year and some of these models will be in new segments and will be trendsette­rs in the luxury car market in India.”
