Amvian plans to tap Indian market with unique seating solutions

The design and engineering team of the company, headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA, combines vision and innovation with process-driven design solutions. The team comprises more than 60 engineers globally with offices in Michigan, Vadodara, India, and Ingolstadt, Germany.
In India, the company has its manufacturing facility at Vadodara and export its products to various customers across the globe. Now, Amvian is exploring opportunities to tap the domestic market with its unique seationg solutions. “Our extensive experience with automotive seating comprises every level of concept development and product design utilising CAD and reverse engineering, CAE/ FEA simulation and optimisation, and design and manufacturing process simulation. The company incorporates process capabilities at the concept and initial design phases using 3D solids to identify and optimise engineering design manufacturing ability,” Murali Swaminathan, Director of Operations, Amvian Automotive (Pvt) Ltd, told Auto Components India.
