Sintercom India income grows

Total income of the Pune-based Sintercom India Ltd, one of the leading automotive sintered components manufactur­er, was at Rs 74.56 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2018, as compared to Rs 65.34 crore in FY17. Sintercom’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciati­on and amortisati­on (EBITDA) in FY18 stood at Rs 17.68 crore, as compared to Rs 13.11 crore in FY17. The company’s EBITDA margin for FY18 stood at 23.7%, as compared to 20.1% in FY17. The company reported net profit of Rs 5.45 crore for FY18, as compared to Rs 1.27 crore in the previous financial year. Jignesh Raval, Member of Board and Managing Director, Sintercom India said, “We are delighted to post a strong set of annual numbers. The annual results reflect the incrementa­l focus on higher margin businesses and bottom line increase backed by the strong industry growth in the auto sector which is growing close to 8%. The strong EBITDA and PAT show the focus of the company on its business values and this will help company to grow in future and create merits for the stakeholde­rs. “

Sintercom India specialise­s in manufactur­ing medium to high density sintered components for automotive engine, powertrain and exhaust systems as well as sensor components. The company’s product portfolio includes drivetrain gears, engine sprockets, pulleys, crankshaft bearing journals, transmissi­on gears and synchro hubs, as well as ABS rings and Sensor Hego bosses and flanges.
