Keeping to the theme of premieres, Honda also showcased its self-balancing motorcycle, the Riding Assist-e. This is an experimental motorcycle featuring balance control technology, developed by Honda through its humanoid robot research. The motorcycle automatically balances itself and is ideal for ultra low-speed situations that require the rider’s attention to balance, such as traffic jams or starting and stopping. Not to forget, it is also powered by an electric motor.
