Vision of the future from TVS
TVS was sure out there to steal our hearts and most importantly took us by surprise thanks to the TVS Zeppelin. The Zeppelin is a performance cruiser motorcycle sporting a 220cc engine coupled with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). ISG comes with an e-boost option, which starts the motorcycle faster by giving it an augmented boost. A 1200W regenerative assist motor with 48V Li-ION battery further adds to the powerful performance. The handling of the motorcycle is aided by lightweight tubeless spoked alloys, 41mm USD forks, dual-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and monoshocks.
It is also the first TVS to sport a belt drive. Other interesting features include LED lighting system, first-in-class smart Bio-key, electronic speedometer and online connectivity.
Zeppelin wowed the crowd, TVS had one more trick up its sleeve. The second concept to steal the limelight at the TVS stand was the Creon. An electric scooter concept designed to offer radical performance. The Creon features a next-generation electric motor that propels this scooter from 0 to 60kmph in under 5.1 seconds and boasts of a range of 80km. Rapid charging of 60 minutes for 80 per cent charge is also available. The Creon is powered by three Li-ion batteries capable of delivering 12kw of power. Apart from this, the Creon features future ready tech in form of smart connected technologies on board, developed in collaboration with Intel. The scooter concept is equipped with a TFT Screen which displays the speedometer, battery charge, health status, tachometer, trip meter and odometer.
