Sarath Kumar Makes Début at Suzuka

After recovering from a knee injury that forced him to sit out the first two rounds of the Asia Road Racing Championship, Sarath Kumar finally raced in the 600-cc category for the first time since graduating from the 250-cc bikes. Although he did qualify and race on Saturday, 4 June, the 24-year-old from Chennai was advised to rest his knee and hence did not race on Sunday. He is now making the best of the seven-week break to get fit enough to race competitively in round four to be held in Indonesia. We wish him the best.
