Rieju Moto May Enter India

KINETIC ENGINEERING, THE COMPANY responsible for bringing MV Agusta to India, may be working towards bringing one more European brand to the country. Kinetic are apparently considering bringing the Spanish bike-makers, Rieju, to India.

Rieju are known for a range of products in Europe that include everything from scooters to off-road bikes and small-capacity sports bikes. We recently spotted a Rieju RS3 125 at the Kinetic plant at Chinchwad, near Pune. This motorcycle is apparently a test subject and the company is researching it to gauge the feasibility of making it in India. The RS3 125 is a small sports bike featuring a liquid-cooled, SOHC, 125-cc single-cylinder engine sourced from the Yamaha YZF-R125. Although Kinetic have not said anything about this motorcycle, it seems that the RS3 125 is being considered by them as the first Rieju bike for India.
