Suspension Replacement

In reply to one of the questions in the April 2014 issue, you mentioned that it is possible to replace the standard stiff suspension in the KTM Duke with a softer unit. This is excellent news. I have not been able to own a KTM until now just because of its stiff suspension. I live in Chennai. Do you know any place in Chennai where I may get this done and also how much it would me? You can actually reduce the spring preload of the stock suspension, though only mildly. Since there is no linkage, the suspension will bottom out if the preload is reduced too much. You would have to do some research if you want to go in for a softer after-market unit as such a unit is not easily available in India.
