The Indian Scout

For this epic journey across the breadth of India that will see us traverse nearly 2,500 km as we cross seven different states we needed a motorcycle that is powerful, comfortable, reliable and capable of cruising comfortably at highway speeds. We found our perfect companion in the Indian Scout.

A full-blown authentic American cruiser bike bearing a legendary name, the Scout’s easy riding position, low saddle height and well-sorted ergonomics keep the rider from tiring himself out over long distances. Meanwhile, 100 horses and 97.7 Nm of twist force from that 1,133-cc liquid-cooled V-twin ensured that we could get back up to speed as quickly as the 298-mm disc brakes (two-piston calliper up front and one-piston calliper at the rear) helped us shed it.
