RAJEEV MISHRA IS THE DIRECTOR OF NOT JUST UM India, but also leads all of Asia, the Middle East and Africa for the brand. Distribution networks have been established by him in Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Uganda, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Laos, Mauritius, Malaysia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Iran. In the regions under his attention, he watches over a variety of facets of the company, including operations, manufacture, supply chain, network development, marketing, business development, R&D, and budgeting.

Rajeev can call upon 20 years of experience in the automotive sector to this role, having served in areas such as dealer development, sales and marketing, retail, and logistics. Before joining UM, Rajeev was the head of sales and dealer development at Polaris India, and also spent time at Mahindra Two Wheelers in the past, along with a period at Nissan Motors in Muscat. Rajeev’s academic background includes a mechanical engineer’s degree from the Allahabad University, a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the Lucknow University, and a certificate in Leadership and Management from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, USA. UM are the new kid on the Indian two-wheeler block. They have opened a showroom in New Delhi, and launched the Renegade Sport S and the Renegade Commando here in India, with the Renegade Classic expected to appear in showrooms soon.
