BIB MOUSSE

‘Bib Mousse’, in all probability a mousse created by Bibendum’s secret formula not disclosed by Michelin, is a flat-proof competition foam tube that was originally developed for the Dakar Rally. Over time, it has become known worldwide for its flat prevention. Best used for enduro, rally or motocross, the Bib Mousse foam insert provides not only peace of mind during the race or trail ride, but also outstanding traction and handling.

Bib Mousse is made from a multicellular butyl material. It replaces conventional tubes and provides a pressure equivalent of approximately 13 psi (0.9 bar). Of course, it is only designed for competition use and, as such, has a maximum speed of 129 km/h. It goes without saying that Bib Mousse can only be used with select Michelin off-road tyres.
