RACE ONE

In the first open class CBR 250R race it was the Honda Ten10 Racing team that claimed the top two steps of the podium. Mathana Kumar rode a flawless race from start to finish, securing the top step, while his team-mate, Rajiv Sethu, was kept busy holding off the advances of Apex Racing’s Kishore V S. At the end of 10 laps, it was Sethu who finished just half a second ahead of Kishore for second and third spots respectively.

RACE TWO

Race two in the CBR 250R open class was an exciting three-way battle for the top spot which came to a premature end when it was red-flagged after six laps. Mathana Kumar, Rajiv Sethu and Rock Star Racing’s Abhishek V made up the lead pack, with Kumar in an early lead. A couple of laps later Sethu had taken the lead, only to have Abhishek push past soon enough. The excitement came to an abrupt end when Sethu flew off the track at the end of the main straight, due to what seemed like a brake issue, and the race was immediately stopped. The final positions were decided as they were on the track after six laps, before the race was stopped: Abhishek first, Sethu second and Kumar third.
