Bike India

Comfortable and Enjoyable

- — Sanjay Raikar

FOR THE PAST YEAR I’D BEEN ASTRIDE the Yamaha FZ-S, and while I adored that chassis and big-bike feel, I really had a hankering for a bit more power. My prayers were answered with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Fi. Not only does this bike feel big and pack a wallop, it’s also very comfortable and lets me enjoy every journey to the office as well as the occasional long ride to chase some good weather over the weekend.

The RTR 200’s engine is punchy, but also feels a lot smoother than the Apache 160 that I rode previously. The riding posture lets me relax but feels sporty at the same time. The foot-pegs and tank recesses are excellent for my frame and the handlebars are positioned just high enough to allow for an easy riding position. The switches on the handlebars feel more solid and high-quality, too.

I’m so glad I’ve got the Apache 200. I also visit the fuel station a lot lesser than I earlier thought I would need to.
