FUEL FILTER
The fuel filter is a simple device in the fuel system of a motorcycle installed at the very beginning of the fuel system between the tank and the fuel pump, before the fuel reaches the carburettor or the fuel injection system. It prevents impurities in the fuel from reaching and possibly clogging and damaging the carburettor jets or fuel injectors. Depending on the quality of fuel used, the fuel filter will have to be periodically replaced; typically identified when there is a noticeable loss of power and inadequate throttle response.
