Motul in India

BEING A GLOBAL COMPANY FOR more than a century, Motul have their presence in many parts of the world, including India. Motul’s world-class products are blended and marketed in India by lube specialists Atlantic Lubricants and Specialities Limited (ALSL). One of the prominent names in the Indian lube industry, ALSL partnered with Motul back in 2003 when the company was looking to expand in the Indian subcontinent. ALSL has been blending Motul products using the same high-grade materials and technology that Motul uses the world over to maintain high quality and deliver optimum performance. Its world-class facility in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, is responsible for blending Motul lubricants which are then sold across the India sub-continent.

ALSL’s agreement with Motul to be the latter’s technology partner in the Indian subcontinent has seen the company grow exponentially in the market. Apart from manufacturing and selling Motul products in India, ALSL also supplies the same premiumgrade products to neighbouring countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. ALSL’s reach is wide with presence in a variety of markets within India, from metro cities to small towns. ALSL’s association with Motul is one of the strongest in the Indian lubricant industry and together both have dominated the Indian market for high-quality lubricants.

Apart from being heavyweights in the Indian lube industry, ALSL is present in a number of other businesses, for example, grease manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and bulk drugs.

ALSL is also involved with the Indian automotive industry where it has established itself as the preferred lubricant partner with motorcycle and car companies. ALSL has OEM partnerships with motorcycle companies like DSK Benelli, DSK Hyosung, KTM, Kawasaki, MV Agusta, Suzuki Motorcycles India, and car companies like Mercedes-Benz India, Mitsubishi and Bajaj RE.
