Paying Homage to the RC 390

KTM is a brand that focuses on performance and it shows, be it a Duke 200 or the mad 1290 Super Duke R the surge of power is simply second to none.

The RC 390 is a beautifully crafted machine that offers stable handling and performance unseen before. Yes, it is not as refined as the other Japanese rivals, but who cares? I’ve been riding the RC for 10 months now and Í must say that I’m in love completely. There are few negatives but it’s only nitpicking because the emotions I get while riding is incredible. I get connected to the bike in all its glory. The slightly stiff suspension setup does upset the bike over unpredictable potholes but if ridden with care there is no problem. And the mid-corner stability is amazing as the bike sticks to its line and gives you the confidence of pushing it harder. The acceleration in the low end is the best in class, while the top end is not too bad. The overall life with my RC 390 is a beautiful journey. I’m glad that this is my first bike and will cherish the moments till the end of my life with no regrets. Rahul Allan, via e-mail
