Tokyo to San Francisco Rider Jessica Leyne (Belgium) Distance Covered 4,100 km
AT CONCLUSION OF LOLO’S RIDE IN VLADIVOSTOK THE bike was transported to Tokyo, Japan, ready for Jessica Leyne, a 27-yearold mathematics teacher and designer from Belgium. Jessica says that she has more oil and fuel in her veins than blood. This feisty lady rode the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro from Tokyo to some famous racetracks across the island nation. She went to Sugo, a track where the legendary rider, Carl Fogarty, won the SBK championship with Ducati in 1998. Jessica also visited Motegi, the iconic racetrack where Casey Stoner gave Ducati their first world champion victory in 2007. She also had a dekko at the only surviving Ducati Apollo at the Hiroaki Iwashita Museum. Having delved into rich motor sport history in Japan and having visited Mount Fuji, Jessica and the Multistrada 1200 Enduro were on their way to the USA where she concluded the third leg of this ride in San Francisco.
