Tokyo to San Francisco Rider Jessica Leyne (Belgium) Distance Covered 4,100 km

AT CONCLUSION OF LOLO’S RIDE IN VLADIVOSTO­K THE bike was transporte­d to Tokyo, Japan, ready for Jessica Leyne, a 27-yearold mathematic­s teacher and designer from Belgium. Jessica says that she has more oil and fuel in her veins than blood. This feisty lady rode the Ducati Multistrad­a 1200 Enduro from Tokyo to some famous racetracks across the island nation. She went to Sugo, a track where the legendary rider, Carl Fogarty, won the SBK championsh­ip with Ducati in 1998. Jessica also visited Motegi, the iconic racetrack where Casey Stoner gave Ducati their first world champion victory in 2007. She also had a dekko at the only surviving Ducati Apollo at the Hiroaki Iwashita Museum. Having delved into rich motor sport history in Japan and having visited Mount Fuji, Jessica and the Multistrad­a 1200 Enduro were on their way to the USA where she concluded the third leg of this ride in San Francisco.
