AIRBOX

An airbox is a chamber that has a box-like structure positioned ahead of the carburettor or fuel-injection system, and is responsible for the air supply needs for combustion. It collects air from outside and feeds it to the intake hoses of the engine’s cylinder(s). The airfilter is housed inside the airbox. It also houses the air-mass sensor if the bike has a fuel-injected engine.
