Designed to keep the rider firmly anchored to the motorcycle, these tank grips will eliminate sliding forward under hard braking, and facilitate hanging off securely in corners. Holding on to the tank with one’s thighs and knees relieves pressure on wrists, shoulders and elbows, and these pads also keep the tank free of scuff marks from riding pants or jeans. Made from synthetic rubber, TechSpec Gripster Tank Grips are available in two different profiles to suit use and riding style. The High Fusion version, at .035”, is the thinner, softer and less abrasive option designed primarily for street use, and works well with jeans, while the Snake Skin variant is thicker at .125” with an aggressive diamond-shaped pattern designed to keep track riders firmly in their seat. These pads feature reusable adhesive, so their placement can be adjusted, or they can be peeled off one motorcycle and stuck on to another.
