MULTI-LEVEL TRACTION CONTROL
Traction is the adhesive friction force between two moving bodies in contact. In automotive speak, the grip on a road surface is referred to as traction. Advanced motorcycles come with a traction control system that senses a loss of traction on the go and counters it by restricting the throttle input, thereby reducing wheel-spin. Selectable-level systems allow the rider to usually choose among ‘wet’, ‘dry’ or ‘race’ modes to enhance stability, depending on the type of situation, without intruding and taking away the fun of the ride experience.
