RACE ONE

Saturday’s Novice Class race was justly exhilarating as the top four racers were in a class of their own. There was a constant battle for the lead throughout the race; however, Chennai’s Amara Jerald triumphed and set the fastest lap (2:12.772) of the race, and crossed the line just half a second ahead of Vysakh Sobhan in second. Mahesh Murali challenged for second place several times, but had to settle for the last step on the podium.

RACE TWO

Sunday witnessed a change as Hyderabad’s Satya Narayana was the man who shone among the other 21 participants and went on to set the fastest lap (2:11.314) in the six-lap race. He competed with Saturday’s winner, Amala Jerald, and Vysakh Sobhan but managed to claim the top spot. Second place was nabbed by Amala who was then followed by Kerala’s Vysakh who managed to bag the third spot.
