At the final rounD of the 2017 racing season, we got to see the big bikes set the temperatures soaring as they flew down the straights and screamed their way out of corners, sometimes with one wheel in the air. fans waited with bated breaths and primed smartphones to record videos of the racers hurtling down the straight. it isn’t every day that you get to see the big Kawasakis, Ducatis, yamahas, beemers, and hondas fight it out on your home turf.

after setting a blazing time of 1:59.733 and claiming pole position, rajini Krishnan surprised everybody by pulling into the pits due to a technical difficulty. barring this unfortunate incident, the race weekend did showcase some phenomenal racing from the other racers.

RACE ONE

With the fastest man of the pack out of contention, the fight became more intense. Most of the racers got a great start off the line and swarmed into the first corner. by C3 (third corner), Simranjeet Singh, Dilip lalwani, and Deepak ravi Kumar had begun pulling away from the rest of the pack. as the eight-lap race drew on, Simranjeet and his trusty yamaha yZf-r1 edged away from the rest of the competition. he crossed the finish line at leisure with a five-second lead over the first runner-up, Dilip. Deepak claimed the final place on the podium. the other racers were half a minute behind Deepak.

RACE TWO

the final race was also dominated by the top three from the previous race. however, almost everybody on the grid picked up the pace. Simranjeet faced some tough competition from Deepak and Dilip. he defended his position well and took top honours once again. after a close fight, Deepak stole second place from Dilip, crossing the line a second earlier than his rival. in addition to winning both races, Simranjeet also set the fastest time of 1:58.664.
