The Redberry from Royal Custom Motorcycles

I am grateful to Bike India for appreciating my designs and custom projects which really played an important part in motivating me to work on new designs and projects. This time I am sharing with you my new custom job, the Redberry from Royal Custom Motorcycles. Redberry has been built around Royal Enfield’s Thunderbird 500 (2013). The wheelbase of the motorcycle has been increased by seven inches and the saddle height lowered by five inches, which give the Redberry a low-slung riding position and which is helpful on long hauls. This has been achieved by modification work such as fabricating a long swingarm and increasing the front suspension fork angle. The rear tyre is a 150/70×15 and front is a 100/80×18, so the rims also have been modified accordingly. The seat is completely handcrafted and finished in dual-tone fabric. Engine casings, front suspension bottoms, and brake and clutch levers have been buffed and polished to add on a classy look.

While building the bike I always wanted it to look and ride like a factory-built product, so much attention has been paid while assembling it and, believe me, it’s fun to ride with that stretched wheelbase and low seating powered by 500-cc twin-spark motor developing 41 Nm of torque!
