Mission Save Lives road safety rally reaches Reasi

REASI, MAY 10: The Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally, initiated by the Lt. Governor of J& K, Manoj Sinha, on Friday reached District Reasi, marking a significan­t milestone in its journey to promote road safety awareness.

The rally commenced its journey from Raj Bhawan Srinagar on May 2, 2024, with the noble objective of traversing through all 20 districts of Jammu & Kashmir to advocate for safer roads and reduce the alarming rate of road accidents in the region.

District Developmen­t Commission­er, Vishesh Mahajan, f lagged off the rally from District Reasi, emphasizin­g the critical importance of such initiative­s in safeguardi­ng precious lives lost to preventabl­e road accidents. He commended the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation for its relentless ef forts in promoting road safety awareness and reiterated the urgent need for collective action to address this pressing issue.

The Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally aims to instill a culture of responsibl­e driving and adherence to traf fic regulation­s across all segments of society, thereby contributi­ng to the overarchin­g goal of saving lives and preventing road accidents.
