The pri­mary prod­ucts and ser­vices of­fered by Del­com in­clude IP Sur­veil­lance Sys­tem, Uni­fied Com­mu­ni­ca­tion, IT In­te­gra­tion & Net­work­ing, Au­dio Video In­te­gra­tion, PA Sys­tems (Pub­lic Ad­dress Sys­tem with Talk Back Fa­cil­ity), among oth­ers. A gen­er­ous in­vest­ment of Rs. 50,000 in the year 1995 marked the hum­ble be­gin­ning of the com­pany, which soon turned into a Rs. 20 crore em­pire, even though the jour­ney has been a chal­leng­ing one. To­day Del­com has a track record of pro­vid­ing su­perla­tive ser­vices for even the most com­plex of so­lu­tions on time. The firm has suc­cess­fully re­tained 85% of their staff, thus pro­mot­ing a healthy work­place en­vi­ron­ment. Brief­ing about Del­com’s role in the in­dus­try, Del­com’s di­rec­tor Mrs. Su­man Singh ex­pressed “One of our re­cent projects is NE-Agra, Biswanath Chairali to Agra HVDC 800KV, val­ued at 5.5 crore. An­other is for Champa – Ku­ruk­shetra HVDC 800 KV val­ued 3.5 . The ser­vice is haz­ardous, but we have im­ple­mented all re­quired safety mea­sures un­der EHS com­pli­ances. Any project we un­der­take in power trans­mis­sion in­volves in­te­grated so­lu­tion for IP sur­veil­lance, Perime­ter In­tru­sion De­tec­tion Sys­tem, Industrial PA, EPABX and Ac­cess con­trol.” The com­pany de­liv­ers the afore­men­tioned so­lu­tions na­tion­ally to Power Grid Cor­po­ra­tion of In­dia Lim­ited, var­i­ous State elec­tric­ity boards in ad­di­tion to closely work­ing with Tata Power. Few other clients worth men­tion­ing in­clude, BHEL, Havells, KEC, Techno Elec­tric, GE Grid So­lu­tion ( Ear­lier known as Al­stom ), Mother­son Sumi Sys­tems Ltd., Siemens, L&T, ABB, Cromp­ton Greaves, and the list goes on. It also boasts an im­pres­sive client re­ten­tion rate, with no loss of clients ever since the start of the com­pany. More­over, Del­com Te­lesys­tem has col­lab­o­rated with some of the lead­ing gi­ants in their in­dus­try seg­ment in­clud­ing Mi­crosoft, Sony, Bosch, Poly­com, Avaya, Cre­stron, CISCO, Pelco, Mile­stone, Ju­niper and Video­net­ics, to name a few. The com­pany is en­vi­sioned to en­ter into an in­vest­ment part­ner­ship and gen­er­ate a com­mend­able turnover of Rs. 100 crore in the next three to five years. Mr. Singh be­lieves that with in­tense ef­fort and keep­ing in line with stan­dard at Del­com, the com­pany will reach its full po­ten­tial and even more in a fore­see­able pe­riod of time.
