The Dig­i­tal bank­ing lobby is equipped with high tech in­fra­struc­ture & of­fers seam­less ser­vices at Sikan­der­pur Metro Sta­tion with var­i­ous util­i­ties to give over­whelm­ing ex­pe­ri­ence to its cus­tomers. The var­i­ous bank­ing ser­vices in­clude Ac­count Open­ing Kiosk to fa­cil­i­tate in­stant ac­count open­ing and is­suance of debit card with E- KYC, ATM for Cash With­drawal , Coin Vend­ing Ma­chine to meet up the daily change re­quire­ments of cus­tomers & Multi- Func­tional Kiosk which of­fers fa­cil­i­ties like cheque de­posit , mo­bile recharge, ac­count bal­ance en­quiry, mini state­ment gen­er­a­tion, bill pay­ment, in­ter­net bank­ing con­ve­nience etc . In or­der to give a per­sonal touch, Bank has also placed 2 staff mem­bers for as­sist­ing the cus­tomers re­solv­ing their queries/ clar­i­fi­ca­tions & of­fer­ing other prod­ucts of Bank. Bank of Bar­oda’s As­so­ci­a­tion with Mum­bai Traf­fic Po­lice

Bank of Bar­oda has been reg­u­larly hand­hold­ing with Mum­bai Po­lice in their var­i­ous ef­forts. Con­tin­u­ing with the same spirit, the Bank handed over an­other tranche of -90- bar­ri­cades to Mum­bai Traf­fic Po­lice. This is in ad­di­tion to ear­lier tranche of -50bar­ri­cades spon­sored by the Bank in Novem­ber, 2016. Th­ese bar­ri­cades will be de­ployed by the Mum­bai Traf­fic Po­lice at strate­gic lo­ca­tions BKC, Ban­dra, San­tacruz dur­ing the Jan­mash­tami, Ganesh Us­tav, Navrathri, Mount Marry fair etc. On the ocas­sion, Shri Rakesh Bha­tia, Gen­eral Man­ager (Mktg., Corp. Comm. & WMS) praised the role and con­tri­bu­tion of Mum­bai Traf­fic Po­lice in bring­ing a dis­ci­pline on the busy roads of the vi­brant city. Mr. San­jay Jad­hav, IPS, cur­rently hold­ing tem­po­rary charge of Additional Com­mis­sioner (Traf­fic) Mum­bai Traf­fic Po­lice ap­pre­ci­ated Bank’s ges­ture and sup­port.

Bank of Bar­oda en­ters into MOU with Small Farm­ers Agribusi­ness Con­sor­tium (SFAC)

In a som­bre cer­e­mony held at Bank

of Bar­oda, New Delhi, Bank of Bar­oda ,a premier and lead­ing Na­tion­al­ized Bank and Small Farm­ers Agribusi­ness Con­sor­tium (SFAC) have en­tered into a me­moran­dum of un­der­stand­ing (MoU) un­der which the Bank would play an ac­tive role in pro­vid­ing col­lat­eral free loans to Famers Pro­ducer Com­pa­nies (FPCs) for which credit guar­an­tee cover upto 85 % of the loan amount max­i­mum upto one crore will be made avail­able by SFAC. Bank of Bar­oda is the sec­ond largest PSU Bank which is known for in­no­va­tive bank­ing prac­tices and spear­head­ing the cause of so­cial bank­ing. Small Farm­ers Agribusi­ness Con­sor­tium (SFAC) is an Au­tonomous So­ci­ety pro­moted by Min­istry of Agri­cul­ture, Co­op­er­a­tion and Farm­ers’ Wel­fare, Gov­ern­ment of In­dia which is pi­o­neer­ing in­clu­sive growth of small and mar­ginal farm­ers in agribusi­ness ac­tiv­i­ties. The So­ci­ety has also been en­trusted with the task of im­ple­men­ta­tion of the crit­i­cally im­por­tant Na­tional Agri­cul­ture Mar­ket Scheme on e-plat­form to pro­gres­sively free agri­cul­tural trade and of­fer price dis­cov­ery to farm­ers. Shri G B Panda, Head - Govt Re­la­tion­ships, Bank of Bar­oda while wel­com­ing the gath­er­ing, high­lighted the im­por­tance of reach­ing out to the grass root level and en­light­ened that sign­ing of this MOU is a way for­ward to help In­dia to built a ro­bust agri­cul­ture econ­omy. Shri G.B.Bhuyan, Head- Ru­ral & Agri Bank­ing and CSR presided over the func­tion and ex­changed MOU with Smt. Sapna Nigam,Di­rec­tor,SFAC. He ac­cen­tu­ated that the bank is strongly com­mit­ted to pro­mote agro based lend­ing in or­der to achieve the goal of dou­bling the farm­ers’ in­come as en­vi­sioned by the Hon’ble Prime Min­is­ter. Smt. Sapna Nigam, Di­rec­tor (VCA), also high­lighted the im­por­tance of reach­ing out to the farm­ers and thanked Bank of Bar­oda hav­ing taken this ini­tia­tive to de­velop over­all agri busi­ness. Shri R.K.Gupta, Zonal Head of the Bank un­der­scored that the re­la­tion­ship of Bank with SFAC will im­mensely ben­e­fit the farm­ers in in­creas­ing their farm in­come and as­sured that the bank will take all steps to trans­late the agree­ment to busi­ness num­bers in agri busi­ness do­main.

In con­tin­u­a­tion with the same tra­di­tion, Bank of Bar­oda, is ex­clu­sively sup­port­ing „Udayswar@Prithvi a col­lab­o­ra­tion be­tween Pan­cham Nishad and Prithvi Theatre, with the ob­jec­tive of en­cour­ag­ing the en­deav­our to pre­serve and pro­mote the rich tra­di­tional per­form­ing arts of In­dia. „Udayswar@ Prithvi - a con­cert of morn­ing ra­gas, is an unique acous­tic ex­pe­ri­ence, wherein, the in­ti­macy and ex­cel­lent acous­tics of Prithvi Theatre en­ables an unadul­ter­ated ex­change of mu­sic be­tween the artiste and the au­di­ence mak­ing it un­like any other in to­day's age of mi­cro­phones and am­pli­fi­ca­tion. With Bank of Bar­oda s ex­clu­sive sup­port, the first of the eleven shows of „Udayswar@Prithvi be­gan with a scin­til­lat­ing per­for­mance by Shubha Mud­gal and will be fol­lowed by per­for­mances by ris­ing and renowned vo­cal and in­stru­men­tal In­dian clas­si­cal mu­si­cians on the 3rd Sun­day of every month. Speak­ing on the oc­ca­sion of the first con­cert, P.S.
