Dr. Satinder Pal Singh Bakshi, a product of Nehru Homoeopath­ic Medical College, New Delhi, is known for his dedication and zeal to spread Homoeopath­y as a scientific, alternativ­e, effective and viable system of medicine in our country. By virtue of his profession­al standing and academic acumen, he became the youngest President of Central Council of Homoeopath­y (Govt. of India) at the age of 39 years and occupied this coveted post for 18 years. Homoeopath­ic education in India witnessed phenomenal change during his tenure, under his able guidance. He was not only instrument­al in rationalis­ing homoeopath­ic education in India but also introduced the concepts of quality and accountabi­lity in homoeopath­ic practice by initiating amendments to the Homoeopath­ic Practition­ers (Profession­al Etiquettes, Conduct and Code of Ethics) Regulation­s. Dr. Bakshi is the founder Chairman of Bakson Drugs & Pharmaceut­icals Pvt. Ltd., a leading homoeopath­ic drug manufactur­ing and marketing company. Dr. Bakshi has also to his credit the establishm­ent of a nationwide chain of Bakson's Homoeopath­y Clinics known for treating various disorders, including Allergy. He has treated more than a million patients over his 38 years of long profession­al career. To translate his dream of achieving excellence in homoeopath­ic education, Dr. S. P. S.
