Exclusivity is one quality which is the hallmark of true blue winners. Take Balaji Polymers, for instance. This company is the only one in all of India to manufacture preform and closures for integrated packaging solutions of high quality plastic products with an exclusive focus for edible oils. The company was founded with an initial capital of Rs 50,000 in 2004.” Today, it has metamorphosed into a unit with a turnover of Rs 35 crore in 2016-17, a jump of 20 to 25 percent from the previous year’s Rs 20 croregrossings. It is presently catering to almost all renowned companies involved in filling edible oil in the entire country. Balaji Polymers runs on the steam of two manufacturing plants, latest in Duhai (2200 square metres in area) and the other oneon Meerut Road Industrial Area (600 square metres). About 80 percent of the manufacturing capacity of the plants is presently being realized. This company has a run-up of about 80 employees and registers 90 percent retention of all its staffers. The founders believe that “it is our service, our price competitiveness and quality which are our primary USPs.” The firm has a client roll call with brand names like Bail Kolhu, Nourish, Chakra, Saloni, Bharat, Ravindra, P Mark almost covering major brands from north India in edible oil segment. It “logs in 100 per cent retention of all our clients due to cent per cent timely delivery, among other reasons.” The powers that be of this manufacturing entity opine that “it is team work and lots of hard efforts which pay dividends at the end of the day, anywhere.” This company is motivated strongly to “keep moving towards its goals, come what may.” Also, it is very careful about optimizing its carbon footprint, keeping our environment wellness in mind at all times. Balaji Polymers have installed latest Injection moulding machines which saves on power and produces best in class products. They keep on investing on research and development for light weighting of preforms in right aspect. In addition, a lot of care is taken to have adequate facilities to make sure that all the finished products are stored with extra precautions. Packaging of entire line is customized so that all varied demands of the clients are totally met up with. Incidentally, one of the break throughs for Balaji Polymers happened in the year 2009. This is when they invested in PET preform production lines for producing wide neck preforms. The happy co-incidence here is that its top management comprises techno-commercial personnel and they successfully experimented with multi-cavity moulds for preform

production. An investment in 8 cavity 83 mm neck and 4 cavity 120 mm neck with 250 TON fully automatic injection moulding production lines was done. This was very uncommon in the entire country and this decision helped Balaji Polymers to emerge as a real leader in PET preform manufacturing wide mouth preforms especially designed for two and five litre pack sizes. Since then, Balaji Polymers was noticeable by each PET convertor. It was in the year 2014, this company took another really big step which boded very well for it by investing in a particular CTC format of Pet preform using world class manufacturing set up. It laid the foundation stone for a production plant at Duhai Industrial Area in Ghaziabad using Husky PET preform production lines and world class All Electric Toshiba closure production lines. Today Balaji Polymers is the only company in India dedicatedly producing preforms and closures for edible oil segment on these high speed lines. Earlier these high speed production lines were installed only by Coke and Pepsi convertors. This was a big bet which Balaji Polymers placed. The vision was quite clear….. Invest in the best and produce the best…. Today, this new facility is a masterpiece having state of art machines with completely controlled air cooled production area. Whole plant is supported by fully air conditioned UPS area to provide power backup in case of power failure. The warehousing area is designed for FIFO and racking system is placed to ensure best possible inventory management system. They are simply one stop solution for CTC preforms for 200 ML to 5000 ML edible oil bottles and world class capping solutions. Here it is worth to mention the support and motivation received from B L Agro Oils ltd (Brand Owners of Bail Kohlu Kacchi Dhani Mustard Oil) making Balaji polymers to invest in these lines and many thanks to them for their confidence shown in Balaji Polymers. The chief vision which is fuelling up energy quotients at Balaji Polymers is “an aim to enter into the arena of speciality packaging by the year 2020 AD and also to make ours aRs 100 crore turn-in company.” As is obvious, such an aim is not easy to fulfil. However, when one is powered up with a capacity to put in hours and hours of toil without complaining and be asstrongly empowered as the employee roster of Balaji Polymers is, even the impossible can soon easily become possible.
