The Indian Freight transport market is expected to recored a CAGR of 13.35% by 2020, driven by the growth in manufactur­ing, retails, FMCG and e-commerce sectors. Internatio­nal trade is likely to remain the major drivers for the freight forwarding companies. The vision of the Katyals is to “expand in both India as well as in global terms.” They wish to open up more branch offices and cross the Rs 100 crore turnover mark by 2023. The scorecard of success for their company, as per Mr. Mohit Katyal, is “the strength of the hard work we have put in, our clients, innovative approches, technology driven process, government initiative­s. Some of the other services also offered by Olympic Impex include pharma logistics, project cargo, dealing in perishable cargo, aircraft chartering, exhibition handling, 3PL/4PL service, cross docking, custom e-booking, and taking care of EDI applicatio­ns. As far as the orb of internatio­nal freight management is concerned, this company looks into cargo booking, freight documentat­ion preparatio­n, track and trace to incoterm or cargo turnover, export customs compliance, solution management, and drop shipments related work nitty-gritty. Olympic Impex also has an extensive network of agents in major hubs across the earth. In addition, it provides a full spectrum of ‘bolton’ services for routine as well as cross trade such as cargo insurance, packing, lashing/securing, container stuffing, and local inland logistics. An entire set of custom services from this house include provision of specific packaging, labelling, cooling elements, and dry ice.
