BPCL holds 63rd Annual General Meeting

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., held its 63rd Annual General Meeting on 21st September 2016 at K.C.College, Churchgate, Mumbai where Mr. S. Varadarajan Chairman & Managing Director addressed the share-holders. Bharat Petroleum has recorded outstanding results in all the facets of the business for the year 2015-16. Both in Refining and Marketing, excellent results have been delivered. The Company has achieved the highest ever net profit of Rs. 7431. 88 crores representing a 46% leap over last year’s record of Rs. 5084.51 crores. These phenomenal results have enabled the company to meet the stringent criteria set by the Government of India for classification as Maharatna Company.
