Canara Bank Hindi Day Celebration – 2016

Hindi Day was celebrated by Canara Bank, Circle Office Ahmedabad on 19th sept. 2016. It was presided over by Mr. V S Renganatahan, General Manager. On this occasion, Dr. Ranjana B Argade Head of the department Hindi of Gujarat University was the chief guest. Mr. V S Renganatahan, General Manager felicitated the chief guest. Mr. Alok Chowdhary, AGM welcomed the chief guest and gave her brief introduction. Mr. Renganathan, General Manager has mentioned in his address that Hindi is a communication language among the peoples. It is the base of our culture & civilization. The existence & development of our culture & civilization depends on Hindi language. On this occasion, Mr. Kalyan Mukherjee, AGM in his address exhorted to increase the use of Official language in our daily Banking works. The Chief guest emphasized in her motivational speech that the developed countries are working in their own language and they are very prospering in economic, commerce, science & technology . The chief guest distributed prizes to the winners of the various contests. Mr. H T Baviskar, AGM proposed the vote of thanks.
