Reliance Capital Q4 profit flat at ~417 crore

Anil Ambani-controlled Reliance Capital (RCap) has posted a net profit of ~417 crore for the January-March quarter against that of ~415 crore in the correspond­ing quarter of FY16. Total revenue during the period under review spurted by 80 per cent to ~5,086 crore compared with ~2,828 crore in the fourth quarter of FY16, a company statement said. For the full fiscal year, net profit fell to ~1,086 crore in 2016-17 against ~1,101 crore in FY16. Total revenue was at ~17,640 crore in 2016-17 against ~9,998 crore in 201516. The board of directors of the company have recommende­d a dividend of ~10.50 per share for 2016-17. Shares of the company closed 4.57 per cent up at ~669.80 on the BSE. RCap provides services such as asset management, mutual funds, general, life and health insurance, commercial and home finance, stock broking etc.
