Shah eyes Kerala Rahul in Telangana

Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah will be in Kerala on a three-day tour from Friday, as part of preparatio­ns for the 2019 general election. He will attend 21 meetings. His aim is to tour the entire nation before the general election.

Shah will lay the foundation stone for a state headquarte­rs building on Sunday, besides attending meetings to on expanding the National Democratic Alliance in kerala. He is expected to meet the families of BJP sympathise­rs who have faced violence at the hands of supporters of the Left Front government in state. Steinmeier. The PM will then fly to Spain and hold talks with Rajoy. He will also call on King Felipe VI. A round-table discussion with Spanish business leaders is on the agenda.

He will land in Moscow on Thursday, where he will attend the India-Russia Annual Summit at St. Petersburg, with President Vladimir Putin. Modi will participat­e in the St. Petersburg Internatio­nal Economic Forum on Friday. He will fly to Paris for a two-day visit on June 2. He will hold discussion­s with the newly-elected President Macron on strategic issues. All India Congress Committee VicePresid­ent Rahul Gandhi will release a 'chargeshee­t' against the failures of the Telangana government at a Praja Garjana in Sangareddy on Thursday. Telangana saw a visit by Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah in May, to expand the party's footprint.

Gandhi and the Congress's attack will be entirely on the ruling K Chandrashe­khara Rao-led TRS government, a party neither supporting the BJP formally nor the Congress-led United Progressiv­e Alliance. Gandhi is looking to resurrect the party organisati­on that was captured by the TRS following the movement for statehood of Telangana. He will hold a public meeting in Sangareddy.
