Tamil Nadu govt in talks with Google for a centre
The government of Tamil Nadu has said that it is in talks with Google to invite the Internet giant to set up its centre in the state. Speaking in the legislative Assembly on Friday, IT minister M Manikandan said he is in talks with Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai. He said he is exploring the possibility of Google setting up a centre in Chennai or somewhere near Madurai and in the next two to three months there might be a meeting in the US or Singapore on this.
