Ceat Q2 net down 31% at ~73 crore

Tyre manufacturer Ceat on Tuesday reported 31.4 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to ~73 crore for the second quarter ended September 30. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of ~106 crore in the same quarter previous financial year, Ceat said in a BSE filing. Total income during the quarter under review was at ~1,529 crore. It was ~1,600 crore in the corresponding period last financial year, it said.
