Surprise package

The HTCU11 Plus (~56,990), an upgraded version of the U 11, retains its best features— squeeze-based “pinchable” operations, HTC Edge Sense, U Sonic audio enhancements and Boom Sound speakers.

While the HT CU 11 was a disappointment in terms of design, the HT CU 11 Plus is more refined. The finger print scanner has been moved to the back under the camera module. This makes it easier to operate than the small finger print scanner under the home button on the front in the HTCU11. But the glossy back is a finger print magnet.

The phone sports a 6-inch quad-HD+ resolution in an 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen is bright and responsive, and delivers consistent performance — on par with the best screens available in other premium smartphones. But the display misses on technologies such as HDR10.

The phone is powered by a Qu al comm Snap dragon 835 processor, coupled with an Adreno 540GPU. The device has 128 GB internal storage, expand able up to 2 TB, and 6G Bof RAM. It isb utter-smooth throughout and offers glitch-free performance with no lag.

The HT CU 11 Plus sports a 12megapixel( MP ), bright f /1.7 aperture rear camera and captures every bit of detail a smartphone camera can. Without the secondary camera, portrait mode is missing and so are optical zoom capabilities. The front camera has an 8MP unit with an f/2.0 aperture for low-light selfies.

In terms of audio routed through wired handset, the quality is equally good—courtesy the HT CU Sonic headphones that come bundled with the handset.

The phone sports a 3,930 Mah battery but fails to stay up for a full day.

The HT CU 11 Plus is an excellent choice if you are looking for a premium smartphone with a brilliant camera, incredible audio output, consistent performance, top-of-the-line innards, ample storage and RAM. If, ofcourse, shelling over ~56,990 is not a huge problem for you.
