BJP’s Mukul Roy booked for TMC MLA’s killing

BJP leader Mukul Roy was among four people booked on Sunday in connection with the killing of Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Satyajit Biswas in West Bengal’s Nadia district, police said. Roy, a former TMC general secretary who joined the BJP last year following differences with party supremo Mamata Banerjee, denied the allegation, saying the decision to name him in the FIR was “politically motivated”.
