SBI at your Door : DSB Services

-

SBI has always been committed to adhering to the highest standards of customer convenience and regulatory compliance. Pursuant to the RBI notification in 2017, SBI has rolled out Door Step Banking (DSB) services in 100 cities across the country. These services will eventually be rolled out pan-india.

While RBI suggested that the services be made available to the customers above the age of 70 years, differently abled and infirm persons, the Bank has decided to roll out these services to all customers across all segments subject to some basic conditions such as KYC compliant status etc.

DSB service is a paradigm shift in the way basic financial & nonfinancial services are availed by the bank customers. This move will bring us one step closer to having “virtual branch at your home” a reality, thus moving away from the need to visit a branch for services such as cash deposit/withdrawal, A/c statement etc.

These services will be delivered through outsourced

DSB agents at the registered address of the customer. Customers registered for the DSB services at their home branch can request for the same through the 24*7 Contact

Centre. The DSB agent will visit the customer at his/her convenient time and deliver the requested services.

By availing DSB services, a customer can save on travel time, expenses and the hassles involved in visiting a bank branch. He need not wait in a queue in a crowded branch and get the services at the time chosen by him. Further, the risk of theft of cash is also mitigated. Customers can avail the services by calling a dedicated toll- free number 1800111103 from their registered mobile number. All the transactions related with cash i.e. cash pick up/cash delivery & recovery of service charges will be effected on real time basis by crediting/ debiting customer’s account. DSB agent shall pick up cheque/cheque book requisition slip from customer and deposit the same at designated branch for processing. Term Deposit advice & statement of account shall be dispatched through post/ courier to customer’s registered address.

Going forward, customers will be able to register & request for DSB services through YONO, YONO Lite & Internet Banking as well.

Bank will keep on adding to the list of services under Door Step Banking facility on a continuous basis to enrich and enhance customer experience.
