Velvet (raked in just about 24 crore, on a budget of 80 crore) and Shaandaar (which made 50 crore, while the cost of production was 60 crore), Fox Star Studios has had a disastrous run. However, in the past few months, the studio has become extremely conscious about the budget of its films. Some of its latest releases such as Neerja and Kapoor&Sons have done well.
