HAMMERING OUT

-

The consortium of lenders to Kingfisher Airlines, led by the SBI, is at it again, despite having failed to find bidders for the Kingfisher House in Mumbai for a base price of `135 crore, or the Kingfisher Airlines brand and trademarks for `366.7 crore. This time, the Kingfisher Villa in Goa is going under the hammer for a base price of `85 crore. It seems, selling the defunct airline’s assets are as difficult as making its promoter, Vijay Mallya, pay the dues.
