Priya Agarwal, daughter of the mining baron Anil Agarwal, has joined the board of Vedanta Ltd as an additional and non- executive director, the company said in a statement. The appointment has been approved by the board of directors, it added. Agarwal holds a degree in Psychology and has done her MBA from the University of Warwick in the UK. In the past, she had been with Ogilvy & Mather as a public relations officer, and also worked as a human resource professional for Korn Ferry International and HDFC Bank.
