DUBLIN ST PATRICK’S FESTIVAL

The tradition goes back to 457 AD when St Patrick died. The day falls on March 17 each year and is synonymous with the Irish community. Those who wish to participate or acknowledge the day, wear green. Street shows and pageantry are performed for onlookers. The highlight is the “Festival Treasure Hunt”.
