DUSIT INTERNATIONAL is set to manage a new hotel in China’s Jiangsu province starting late 2017. The Dusit Thani Wetland Park Resort Nanjing, Jiangsu will be a 110-villa and room property in the Nanjing Shangqinhuai Eco Wetland Park, located approximately 30 minutes from the city centre and 20 minutes from Nanjing International Airport. It will feature a meeting room measuring 300 sqm, an all-day restaurant, a speciality Chinese restaurant and a rooftop garden restaurant. Leisure facilities, meanwhile, will include a Thai-inspired spa, gym, swimming pool and kids’ club. MOVENPICK HOTELS & RESORTS opened its first serviced residence in Asia, located in the Thai capital. The Movenpick Residences Ekkamai Bangkok includes 158 one- and two-bedroom serviced apartments that offer kitchen equipment, free wifi and floor-to-ceiling city-view windows. Additional facilities within the property include a 25-metre outdoor saltwater swimming pool, an indoor rooftop fitness centre and what the property describes as a “modest but wellequipped” meeting space. An on-site all-day restaurant is also present. BEST WESTERN HOTELS AND RESORTS will launch its first upscale BW Premier Collection brand in Asia. The resort is an eight-storey project in Na Jomtien in Thailand. It is located approximately 100 metres from the beach near downtown Pattaya, about an hour’s drive from Bangkok. Some 195 apartment-style units are offered at the property.
