The 5th generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class finally launched in the country in the long-wheelbase (LWB) variant. India is the first and only country in the world to receive the Right Hand Drive version of the “Long Wheelbase” E-Class. Since its inception, the E-Class has set a benchmark in the business luxury sedan segment and has carved a niche of its own. The long wheelbase version of the new E-Class is “Made in India, for India”, and brings with it the numerous technical innovations of the most intelligent executive sedan. It will be offered in two engine variants namely, E 350 d and E 200 (sedan only). The E 350 d embodies comfort and utility with rich interiors like 37-degree reclining rear seats with Chauffeur package (first in the segment), 64-colour ambient lighting (first in the segment), 9G-TRONIC (first in the segment), parking pilot, air body control (first in the segment), and two wide high-resolution and bright displays with a next-generation 12.3-inch screen.
