Etihad Airways expands capacity to Kerala

Etihad Airways has expanded its capacity to Kerala with the launch of a fourth daily non-stop service between Abu Dhabi and Kozhikode.

The new daily flight takes the total number of weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and the Indian southern state to 63. This represents over 30 per cent of Etihad Airways’ Indian operations.

Currently, the Gulf airline flies four flights daily to Kozhikode, three flights a day to Kochi and double daily services to Trivandrum. Jet Airways, its strategic partner operates seven flights a week between Kochi and Abu Dhabi.

Flights to Kerala are operated on A320 and A321 aircraft that feature 16 seats in business class and 158 in economy.
