ON OUR RADAR: JÜSTA’S NICHE OF SMALL BOUTIQUE LUXURY

-

JÜSTA IS A CHAIN of 14 luxury hotels and resorts across di erent leisure and business destinations across India, clocking a key count of 400. With its business hotels present in cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kundapur, jüsta has a major presence in Rajasthan with two hotels in Udaipur, one in Nathdwara and one in Chittorgarh. Founder and CEO of the hotel chain, Ashish Vohra tells us that his intention was to ll the lacuna in the market for small-sized properties, at strategic locations, where guests can enjoy a more personalised “boutique” experience. “is also re ects the changing needs of the modern business traveller, who is price-conscious, but wants a premium experience, a whole niche of guests that want to stay away from the cookie-cutter large chain hotels,” Vohra says. e latest jewel in jüsta’s crown is its new property in Udaipur — jüsta Sajjangarh features no more than 63 hotels and is a perfect cross between business and leisure. It is situated at the foot of — and o ers breathtaking views of — Sajjangarh fort. e hotel has an all-day dining outlet Sabor and one of Udaipur’s trendiest new roo op spaces, Air 24.5 N. One of the jüsta’s most unique properties its jüsta Lake Nahargarh in Chittorgarh, a palace-style hotel set in the middle of a private lake.

jüsta hotels have a strong focus on design and art, with the aesthetics being spearheaded by Bangalore-based designer Deepika Govind. e public spaces of the Sajjangarh properties are dotted with contemporary art giving it a resolutely modern feel.

e jüsta chain is on our radar because it is creating a new segment of a ordable boutique luxury in the Indian hospitality market, in very strategic cities and towns. justahotels.com
