Railway Board

Devi Prasad Pande recently took over as new Member Traffic, Railway Board and ex-officio Secretary to Government of India. Prior to this new posting, he served as General Manager, South Central Railway (SCR), Secunderabad. Born on 15th January, 1955 at Kanpur, Pande did his MA in Modern History from Allahabad University. An officer of Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS) of 1976 batch, he has rich and varied experience in Operations and Commercial branches and has held several important executive and managerial posts on Indian Railways.
