Girish Wagh to head Tata Motors’ CV biz

Girish Wagh, Head of Product Line, Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV), Tata Motors has been elevated as the head of Commercial Vehicle (CV) business. Wagh replaces Ravindra Pisharody, and will work closely with him for a smooth transition. Known for his role in the development of Nano, Wagh is also known to have contributed to the commercial vehicle business unit by heading the development team of the Tata Ace. Wagh recently made the transition to commercial vehicle business from passenger vehicle business. Wagh joined Tata Motors in 1992. His elevation comes at a time when Tata Motors is undergoing a significant transformation.
