New IAC plant at Manesar
International Automotive Components (IAC) has comissioned a new plant at Manesar. Built on a land parcel of 60,000 sq. ft., the plant consolidates two older operations in near proximity. Built with an investment of USDtwo million, the plant will employ 220 people. It will produce vehicle headliners, center console systems, and instrument panel components apart from providing expanded manufacturing and engineering support to domestic and global original equipment manufacturers in Delhi NCR. Expressed Gajanan Gandhe, SVP – Asia Operations, IAC, that the new facility in Manesar will help them to better serve customer needs and offer regional advanced manufacturing and engineering capabilities for next-generation vehicle interiors. The Manesar facility adds to IAC’s regional and global engineering centre at Pune, and to a network of five locations across India.
